from a super-talent named Sara:

who writes... "For the hell of it, I designed a pattern having to do with the song 'Gay Bar' by Electric Six. I used the trees from the 'Get Lost' pattern, and the house from the 'Kiss My Grits' pattern. I took it with me to their Cambridge, MA show on September 19, hoping to get it autographed. After the show, I managed to show the finished piece to four of the band members, and they LOVED it! They couldn't get over how 'granny-ish' it looked, and kept showing it to everyone."

How cool is that? More recent additions in the Customer Gallery.

Check it out!

Time for... the RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR! If you're anywhere near Chicago, head on over to the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend and check out the Crafters for Critters booth. They'll have a BUNCH of Subversive stuff at their booth: kits, books, 2007 calendars, coasters, magnet sets and individually-packaged greeting cards! All proceeds go directly to CFC's wonderful critter causes. So please go by, say hello, & thank Melissa for all her hard work. Also, pick up a free dog biscuit and a handful of swag! Send photos!

First Day of School

My nephew, not quite ready for school. I totally remember those days and am SOOOOO glad they're in the past. I never in a million years imagined that someday I'd actually enjoy waking up early. And now my formerly early-rising parents sleep until noon. I wish I lived closer to them so I could go wake them up right now...
