Subversive Zombie!

Yesterday I did a morning radio interview, which up until now I've avoided but what the hell. Today I woke up to this email:

Way to go on the radio this morning! I've listened to 98.9 therock for years, and I was shocked, and pleased that Jake the Phone Snake located your website, and then Johnny Dare interviewed you. I wish I could get a copy of it on the internet somewhere. It was the coolest thing they've done since they interviewed Rob Zombie last month.

Wow, thanks Rhonda! That's flattering and also pretty dang funny.

Must-See Amy Sedaris

You can always depend on extremecraft for fun stuff to watch. And this is no exception: Amy Sedaris on Conan, teaching Martha Stewart how to make a grilled cheese sandwich in prison - years before anyone would've guessed that Martha would ever need to know such a thing.

OOPSY!

Hey, "Truthiness" was mentioned in this article in New York magazine:

At about 3:30 on the day of the first taping, during a rehearsal, Colbert stopped and beckoned to his writers. He'd decided they needed a better word. "It's not stupid enough," he said. "We're not talking about truth, we're talking about something that seems like truth--the truth we want to exist." Then he had an idea: "Truthiness." He now displays, on a bookshelf in his office, a sampler embroidered with TRUTHINESS inside a gold frame.

And while that's super-exciting, you must know that the above photo is TOTALLY Photoshopped! I sent it out with my enewsletter and it seems like people think it's real! Oh no. I thought I had made it pretty obvious, with my very limited Photoshop skills -- I mean, he can't hold that up with his finger. Anyway, it's not real!! (Though the mention in the article is completely real, and very exciting!)
