I was invited to do an event in NYC to help launch the new chocolate-covered Altoids (we're both curiously strong brands, get it?). But I'm a wuss, so I'm sending kits in my place, but guess who WILL be there, live and in person? Debbie Stoller! Queen of Stitch 'n Bitch and editor of Bust (she's much better at these things!) So it'll be a Bust + Altoids evening, and they'll be bustin' out the cross stitch, too! All that plus free cupcakes (gosh!)

The "Love Stinks" pattern is new to the site, though it IS in the book. But if you don't have the book, or if you want a kit ready to go... now's your chance! Plus, I have some great new valentine swag which I'll send out with early February orders. Crafty Query's been staying out too late, so his February interview is not QUITE here yet... but any minute now, we'll be featuring Nikol Lohr. In the meantime, check the page for details. Nikol, if you don't already know, is fabulously talented and everywhere at once. She's not only the force behind the long-running blog-before-there-were-blogs disgruntledhousewife.com, but she'll soon have a swell profile in Readymade magazine! ooh-la-la!
