The royal engagement inspired me to come up with a modern take on wedding memorabilia, in stitched form of course!

So naturally I contacted my comrade in cross stitch in the UK, Jamie Chalmers (aka Mr X Stitch), for his input. He felt that the timing of the engagement was a perfect distraction from current political events, so we thought a redo of the classic “Keep Calm and Carry On” would be appropriate. He added the line at the end for extra emphasis (“A Royal Wedding Brought To You In Association With The Coalition Government”).
