Our PDF shop is run through Big Cartel using the Pulley app, which means it is technically outside our site. We chose this setup because it allows instant delivery of PDF patterns to your email address.

This means you can't combine PDF orders with regular pattern or kit orders placed on subversivecrossstitch.com, or orders placed through our Etsy shop. These are three separate entities under the same roof.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are ordering from outside the US, sometimes a shipping fee will accidentally be added to your Paypal cart. Don't worry - I will refund this shipping fee. This is just a bug in the machine, since I use the same address for other Paypal orders. You will NOT have to pay a shipping fee in the end, I promise to refund it as soon as I see it! If for any reason you don't see a refund within 48 hours, please let me know and I'll set things right!

How to order PDFs through our shop:

1. Start by choosing the PDFs you want to purchase and add each one to your cart.

2. Click on the Checkout icon (or cart) to see your total order.

3. Once you check out, you'll be taken to Paypal to purchase your PDF order.

4. When your order is complete, you'll be taken to a confirmation page. If the order isn't completed for some reason, you'll be taken back to the cart.

5. Check your email, where you should receive a customized order receipt within minutes. If you don't, please check your junk mail folder in case the email got stuck in a filter.

6. Once you receive the email from our Big Cartel store, just click on the secure download links inside to obtain your PDFs. Be sure to save the file if you plan to reprint it. There is a limit on how many times you can download from the secure link.

What's included in a PDF?

Each PDF is just like a pattern in any of our kits: one side features a full-color pattern on a grid; the other side includes a full page of instructions. You can read the PDF from your portable device or print it out to use again and again. PDFS (portable document files) can be opened using Adobe PDF Reader, available for free download at Adobe.com.

Can I share PDFS with friends?

You could, but I hope you won't. Who needs bad karma, right? PDF patterns are Subversive Cross Stitch® copyrighted designs (All Rights Reserved).
